ABOUT ME

My origins are French. I fell in love with Italy when I was very young and have lived in Tuscany for over 30 years in order to work as a tour guide.

I have traveled the length and breadth of Italy for more than 15 years accompanying groups in the four languages that I speak, an experience that has enhanced my knowledge. I pulled out the tour guiding license I obtained in France in order to work in the provinces of Florence, Pisa and Lucca.

I also have extensive experience in designing bespoke tours for exclusive clients, an exciting and stimulating endeavor that completed my training in the tourist industry.

Italy is highly cultural and I am able to put together tours that meet all expectations. Fortunately, in Tuscany, there are so many alternatives to strictly cultural tours: whether my clients are young and/or very young foodies, I can satisfy a broad range of requests and even show you Florence from the River Arno on a boat, or by Segway or bike.

My guided tours are all exclusive, designed especially for my clients. I don’t lead tours where participants join in situ or book separately, in order to guarantee the quality of the knowledge I share with my clients.

why choose
a tour guide?

For a quality visit

in this globalized world where everyone knows how to do everything, the intellectual professions must guarantee a performance adapted to all levels of knowledge of their clients. I have been advocating for 30 years the recognition and enhancement of our profession through adequate training.

For sustainable tourism

a tour guide is the guardian of the city; they hold the keys. With in-depth knowledge of my area of expertise, I protect it and avoid any mishaps on behalf of visitors, as well as preconceptions. I respect and encourage others to bring respect to the area in which I work.

For an exclusive tour

group tours consisting of participants who don't know each other don't foster a privileged contact with the guide and among participants. These tours are often superficial and may even provide incorrect information on the history and sites of a place. In my ad-hoc visits, it's just you and me.

To get all the insight you'd like

being a tour guide means explaining the local way of life as well as having solid in-depth knowledge that you often extrapolate from your own area. It is not only a matter of sharing your knowledge from a historical, cultural and artistic point of view, but it is above all helping people understand the customs and mentalities deriving from history, so that they can have a 360° vision of the city they have decided to visit.
